You enter a store that looks sort of like mini-Gucci if Gucci meant Robotech in French or something. There are fancy shirts on a mahogany table and from the walls an army of monster robot toys are staring at you.
Welcome to Hipster Nerd Heaven. I capitalized it because it's the name of a place, a city, a tiny city where all these things exist -- in San Fransisco, of course.
It's like comic book store filled with expensive toys. Or a comic book store where the owner bought into a fad to get chicks -- "Cool styles and retro vibes? I can do that!" It's proof that nerd culture is always one step away from hipster culture, as terrifying as that sounds.
And they sell books about comics, how crazy is that!
